Our zero emission plant

We at NR have the same troubles and tasks of any other RMC plant.

We deliver concrete to the jobsites and we then have to deal with remaining and returned concrete and sludge.

But, as you know, we are transforming these waste into a new business opportunity.

On December 29 only, we sold about 30m3 of recycled aggregates.

As you can see in the above picture, our customers come to take our recycled aggregates with their own dump cars and trucks.

Three days before we delivered to a single jobsite in Izu Nagaoka (Panorama Park, you can find it in a previous article) about 160m3 of the same aggregates, so now our stock is almost empty.

We host almost every week some customers interested into our concrete recycling system.

In the above pictures people from Toyama's Nanto Concrete.

We started this system about 8 years ago and since then we are not disposing even 1m3 of returned concrete to the landfill.

100% zero emission plant.

To do this is necessary to find some good ways to sell the recycled material.

In order to do this is vital to build and have a strong and good communication with our customers.

So we do it by using social media (Line, Facebook, etc.), our NRTimes magazine, by phone and of course by man to man communication.

The granular recycled material can be used to mix a new concrete, as filling material for road sub base and to mix a cheap recycled porous pavement (like at the Panorama Park).

Another important point is to invite the interested people to come to our plant and see how the system works.

Our target is mainly the small medium concrete enterprise.

We really hope to be able to help more and more small medium concrete companies to become able to follow our example and become a zero emission concrete plant.

Another good day to be working with concrete!
