Cheap doesn't mean bad quality (ECON)

Cheap.

Usually cheap things are associated with low quality.

If something has a set price it means that the seller gets a profit from that.

So, if the final cost is cheap also the raw material's cost is cheap.

We spoke a lot on this blog about our system for concrete and sludge recycling, the so called IWA/Re-Con Zero EVO System.

This System allows us to recycle our remaining/returned concrete and its sludge and re-use them as raw materials for recycled concrete, named ECON.

Of course recycled materials are cheap, because the raw (recycled) materials are cheaper.

At NR we produce and sell ECON everyday.

The selling price is about 3000/4000 yen cheaper than normal concrete.

By using ECON we have less bleeding and so it dries faster than normal concrete.

This is a good thing in winter and makes things a little bit difficult in summer as it dries too fast.

Cheap means bad only for the Concrete Association, but it is something good for us and for our customers.

So we will continue to try our best to please our customers, by giving them cheap but good quality products.
